We are lucky enough to witness this beautiful sighting of lioness drinking at Matjulu Water Hole on S110 off road, a short distance from the Berg-en-Dal rest camp at Kruger National Park on our latest trip this October’2021.
We have been to this waterhole almost all of our visit and managed to see Elephants, Buffalos and many other smaller species visit for a drink but as it says sighting in this KNP is all about patience and luck ???? and we found ourselves extremely lucky as we got to see this thirsty lioness at Matjulu early in the morning, gave us just enough time to capture her while drinking.
