Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my small home studio(living room) in a small city in Sweden.

Time

This photo was taken during an afternoon shoot in my home

Lighting

I've set up a strobe behind a white sheet to give the clean backlighting, I have a 150cm octobox in the front.

Equipment

This is shot with my Canon 6DII and my 70-200 f2.8. I used two strobes and a speedlight.

Inspiration

Julia is a pure soul and amazing person. I wanted to capture her essence and wanted a clean feeling to the photo

Editing

there is very little post processing in the photo. a quick face touch up and took out a few creases in the background.

In my camera bag

this was shot in my home so I had everything there. when I pack to travel my R5, 70-200, 24-70, 135mm f2, 90mm Macro, 50mm and my 85mm go with me. I travel for months at a time and don't want to be limited in what photos I can take.

Feedback

keep it simple. sometimes it's fun to do crazy things in studio sessions, but don't loose touch with the simplicity of natural beauty and make it about the person, not about your equipment.
