Location
This photo was taken in my home town, my kids and I were just taking a walk down some trails and I being a self taught photographer just thought I would capture the moment as my son was taking a brake on an abandoned ledge of an old broken building.Time
It was in the afternoon around 2:00pmLighting
The light was just perfect timing when I took the photo. It just happened to hit in just the right area as I captured the picture.Equipment
I used a canon ESO, 55mm lens, no tri-pod and no flashInspiration
My son just wanted to take a rest, and he disappeared on me so when I called his name he yelled from up top of this structure and I just had an idea to capture it.Editing
No just took the one photo and it turned out fantastic. In my camera bag
I pack my canon ESO, 55mm lens, as well as some micro lenses for those up close and personal photos of insects or the blooming of flowers.Feedback
Just go with your gut instinct, if your gut tells you the moment is right to capture the photo, then take the photo, usually the best photos are captured when you least expect it to happen and your gut feeling tells you to stop and take it.
