This beautiful yellow hawk moth came into my garden and I had to capture it on my cameraTime
It was resting on my kitchen wall when I found it at about 10am so of course I had take it to my garden.Lighting
It was Happy to stay by me so I got my camera and took the shot using natural daylight and nothing else.Equipment
I used my canon 2000D and a 35mm lens.nothing else was neededInspiration
I shoot anything that catches my eye and love butterflies and moths.i am often taking moths outdoors especially as many people are afraid of moths yet they are friendly do no harm and as a photographer have learnt how beautiful they are.as I say to my young son they are just butterflies in pyjamasEditing
No post processing requirements except croppingIn my camera bag
I always pack my canon 2000D and tripod with 2 lenses one for close up and one for longer landscape photosFeedback
It's much easier to photograph moths when they have landed then position yourself for the shot you want
