Koh Mak is located in the Mu Ko Chang Marine National Park in Eastern Thailand, around 40km from the Trat coast and 20km south of Koh Chang. It is around 16km², a little too big to traverse on foot, but easy enough to explore on a bike - bicycle. The roads are very quiet as external vehicles aren't permitted on the island. Koh Mak is also relatively unknown. This means that it isn’t over run by package tours and and is still a well kept secret for most travelers. You can expect white sandy beaches filled with character and crystal clear waters. In some parts of the island, you can snorkel just off the shoreline. The surrounding lesser islands are known to be brilliant snorkelling spots. Koh Mak is an excellent location for those looking for a relaxing holiday.
