Location
This is a photo of the ruins of Lennoxtown Castle, near Glasgow in Scotland.Time
On the morning on 9th October 2021. Incredibly, during a 2 hour dog walk, this was the only photo I took. Too busy talking to friends.Lighting
I wanted to bring out the colours of the stone work and so added a little tint and vignette to add a bit of earie atmosphere.Equipment
This was taken with my Canon RP and Canon 28-80 L F/2.8 EF with adapter.Inspiration
Its quite an imposing structure, even though only part of it still exists. It also towers above you as you walk around the nearby path. The castle its self is now closed to the public for safety reasons.Editing
Yes. I added a little tint and vignette in LR.In my camera bag
My bag normally consists of my Canon RP. My go to is a Tamron EF 35-150mm F/2.8 , complimented by RF 16mm F/2.8 and EF 50mm F/1.8 prime lenses. I also have the kit RF 24-105 RF lens I got with the camera.Feedback
Just keep shooting. Don't expect every photo to be perfect. Trail and error is still ok. Experiment and overall - enjoy it.
