Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a visit to the local wildplace project. So it was a great day out as well as great photo opportunity

Time

I loved the meerkat enclosure they were up to mischief it seemed whilst this was on watch. It was about 11 ish when I took it so just before lunch for them and me

Lighting

The natural lighting was perfect so thankfully I didn’t have to do that much

Equipment

Took my trusty Nikon D3300 and had my longer lens on 55 -300mm lens

Inspiration

I loved the animals at the wildplace and they are in quite good natural habitats so for me nature inspired me and a good way to challenge myself as a photographer

Editing

No post processing

In my camera bag

I always take my trusty Nikon D3300 and have both the short lens 18-55mm and the long lens 55-300mm with me for options

Feedback

Ah just go with the flow. For this I watched them for a bit before taking the photo so it was nice to see their behaviour and just take a few photos. Also visiting these places I try and go first thing so that I can wander around and try and capture different behaviours during the day
