Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my backyard were a lot birds come and get a drink of water on the hot summer days. This bird was getting ready to dive in and get some water. I just happened to be ready a took this photo.

Time

I was a hot summer day and it had a beautiful cool gust of wind coming out from the forest.

Lighting

The bark on the tree was scaled enough to allow the bird to hold on for long enough for me to set up for the shot.

Canon 5D mk 3 Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM Lens

Inspiration

The amount of birds come in for water was enough to run inside my house to get my camera.

No post processing

I normally carry a couple of lenses. 24-70mm Canon 50mm prime 2x extender
