A canal in the stunningly beautiful city of Venice which lies on the north east coast of Italy. The city is built on 110 small islands lying in the shallow Venetian Lagoon. These are separated by canals and are linked by over 400 bridges. Dominating the scene here is the bell tower (campanile) of San Giorgio del Greci which leans - and has done from the time of its construction (1582-92)! A digital pencil drawing developed from my original photograph.
