Summer is officially over, it's the first day of autumn and these white Chrysanthemums seem to fit the mood of the day. Here in San Francisco, this is our hottest time of year but often with cool night fogs, perfect weather for prompting Cymbidium orchids to start sending up flower stalks for the spring. The cool growers like that dramatic temperature change.
