Behind The Lens

Location

Hello and thank you for your interest in my Bumble shot! This photo was shot in early morning July 2021 at a public flower garden and park in Park River, ND. The garden created to attract and sustain Bumbles.

Time

Early morning, around 7am

Lighting

Well, it was early morning sun gently bathing the back of the garden.

Equipment

I used my Canon Rebel T6 with the basic telephoto lens manually set.

Inspiration

Bumbles are our most precious kin and we must do all we can to protect them. I like to think of my Bumble pics as my way of honoring and elevating them to a higher place and showing others their beauty and innocence.

Editing

No, only did a very slight light enhancement to bring out his wings

In my camera bag

I have my Canon Rebel T6, a Fugi instamatic, and old Kodak from the 1990's and a video cam.

Feedback

Well, I would say, try many different subjects, stretch your imagination and never be timid about expanding your body of work. Photography is art, there is no right or wrong, just beauty.
