For the first time in nearly 10 years of operating our pollinator garden and sanctuary we have observed two black swallowtail larvae form chrysalises on the dill host plant. This is the front view. In this view, the chrysalis appears to have eyes, a nose, and ears. This view should be compared with the side view provided in another image. .
