Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Arizona at Grand Canyon National park!

Time

It was noon or past noon. It was HOT.

Lighting

I used the shade from the trees for this spectacular shot.

Equipment

I used the canon 7d & the 70-200mm f2.8 L ultrasonic lens.

Inspiration

I really enjoy taking photos of animals, and wildlife. I’ve always wanted the chance to take a breathtaking capture of wildlife.

Editing

I did a bit of a clean up, and a small color fix.

In my camera bag

In my bag I always have my 7d, my 70-200mm f2.8, 50mm prime f1.4, my lensball and It’s tripod, and finally, my 18-55mm just in case of a need for a wide angle lens.

Feedback

Don’t be afraid to get dirty! A shot like this required me to lay flat on the ground quickly before this beautiful bunny ran away. Also, be patient. If you’re taking photos of animals, take your time. It’s important not to startle the animals, and to capture them in their natural state.
