Location
This was taken during an outing with members of a meetup group of photographers in the Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh. It is a photo of 3 Doronicum Orientale plus dead 1, and a hover fly.Time
The group met from 1 to 3 pm for the shoot, then coffee and cake afterwards.Lighting
It wasn't a very bright day and I just handheld the camera. The settings: Aperture f13, ISO 800, Shutter speed 1/250Equipment
Camera was a Canon 6D Mk II, Lens EF24-105mm F4L IS USM, No tripod and no flash.Inspiration
It was a planned couple of hours for a photography group in the Botanic gardens of Edinburgh. The reason for the outing was plenty of colour with an abundance of flowers and trees to photograph.Editing
Only processing I did was a slight adjustment to the lighting. In my camera bag
In my bag I usually have: Canon EOS 6D Mark II, Lens: EF400mm F5.6L USM, EF100mm F2.8L Macro IS USM, EF24-105mm F4L IS USM, Extender EF1.4x and Speedlite 430EX III-RT. Sometimes a tripod or a monopod.Feedback
Just keep pushing your boundaries, try something new.
