Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on the bridge over a lake in Texas. This bridge is not drive-able, but people are able to walk across it. I've always loved the old bridges.

Time

This photo was taken mid-afternoon.

Lighting

The clouds were perfect for this photo. Capturing clouds in blue sky makes the photo in my opinion, rather than a plain blue sky.

Equipment

For this photo, I was using the Canon R6 and the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens.

Inspiration

I like photos of bridges and like photos taken at ground level. I like how you get the full effect and different angle from the ground level. So, on this photo, I decided to combine the two and get at ground level on the bridge. It turned out really cool.

Editing

Post-processing, I just sharpen the photo a bit.

In my camera bag

I always have my camera backpack with me no matter where I go. In my camera backpack I have: Canon R6, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens, Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS lens, Canon 24-105mm f/4.7.1 lens, lens cleaning kit, 2 extra batteries, battery charger, cable, pens, chap stick, business cards, hand sanitizer, bag cover, 5 extra SD cards, blank note cards, notebook and camera decals to hand out.
