This photo was taken on a walk i enjoy making down a small hunting road that leads to a beautiful rustic turn of the century log cabin that sits right beside Hudgin Creek located in Pansy, Arkansas.Time
I made this stroll on a particularly chilly morning before lunch while out exploring the deep snow we so rarely get to experience here in Southern Arkansas. The temperature was in the low teens and covering the ground was over a foot and a half of snow making the journey more difficult than I anticipated but it was well worth it to capture this beauty.Lighting
The large amounts of snow covering everything in sight made the lighting perfect for what I was hoping to capture with this shot.Equipment
This was shot with my fujifilm using no special lens or additional flash.Inspiration
I was taking advantage of the beautiful snow creating a perfect nature photo shoot that I would normally not have a chance to capture and at the end of this walk through the woods was when I spotted this magnificent Cardinal right at my eye level perched on a branch I was walking passed.Editing
No I did not. I'm still new to the photo game and am currently working on my after shot skills. In my camera bag
Now that I have acquired another camera with two lenses I always carry my complete set along with a few filters and charged backup battery and can't forget the extra memory cards. I always have my tripod close by especially when shooting at night.Feedback
Get out in nature and always keep your eyes open because your best shot van literally be an arms reach away.
