Behind The Lens

Location

This photograph was taken just outside where I work. I could see the sunflowers blowing in the wind!

Time

This was taken in the afternoon about 16.30pm, whilst the sun was still out & the wind was blowing quite fiercely!

Lighting

This was in the daylight, on a sunny, windy day. No artificial light was required.

Equipment

This photograph was shot with a Nikon Coolpix P950 bridge camera on macro so I could get all the detail in. No other equipment was needed.

Inspiration

I was sat at the reception desk, watching the sunflowers blowing in the wind, looking very resplendent. Luckily, I had my camera with me, so I quickly went outside and took this photo. They really were stunning Sunflowers.

Editing

Absolutely no post-processing was done on this photograph. It is as it was taken!

In my camera bag

I tend to carry my Nikon P950 with me most of the time, plus one of my Canon cameras with a choice of different lens - you never know what will be in front of you!

Feedback

Always keep your eyes open - you never know what might be round the corner when you are least expecting it. I love nature photography and am out everyday taking photos whether it be of flowers, plants, raindrops or birds & animals. I find it all fascinating.
