From this spectacular place, the human presence makes us understand the majesty of the mountains. I was waiting for someone to go to the viewpoint to shoot, and after a long wait a guy, seeing me with the tripod and the camera ready, looked at me and we nodded in agreement. Thank you again, without you the photo would not have succeeded as I wanted it.

Location
The photo was taken on the Dolomites. The famous three picks of Lavaredo are just behind me. Here we can see the Cadini of Misurina mountains.Time
This was taken on late afternoon.Lighting
I waited more less the golden hour for this scene, because I wanted to have this beautiful light coming from a side to create nice shadows.Equipment
I used my Sony a7r3, a Sony 24 105 lens and the tripod.Inspiration
This is a really famous spot, I saw many photos of these mountains. I had the chance to be there and to see a guy making that pose. I was really lucky that someone that I didn't know participated to craft this shot.Editing
Yes I did. I use Lightroom and Photoshop for my post processing. Usually I shot in raw so the photos need to pass through the post processing to keep a beautiful aspect. Lights and shadows, contrast, sharpening, colors and aspect ratio are all things I correct in my work flow.In my camera bag
I bring with me a camera with 3 lenses, wide angle, standard zoom and telephoto. A very stoody tripod and a set of filters (polarise filter and 2 ND).Feedback
Be on the place at least a couple of hours before the golden hour. Just to check the area, studying the best composition for the best hour to come.
