Location
I took this shot in the Dolomites, not far from Bolzano.Time
It was late afternoon.Lighting
I waited the moment when the sun was going down but the sun rays could pass through the trees illuminating the church.Equipment
This shot was taken with Sony a7r3 and Sony 16 35 lens. I used a tripod and a polarize filter.Inspiration
I love this location, I went there a couple of times at least, to understand how the light could give its best to the photo. I am quite happy with this result.Editing
Yes I did. I got 3 different exposures because the light was strong and there were part of the forest in shadow. So in post processing I blended them and then I tried to work on colours and contrast. In my camera bag
I have a camera, 3 lenses 16 35, 24 105 and 100 400. I have a tripod, some Nd filters and the polarize filter.Feedback
The light plays the main part. Composition is quite obvious, you don't have many chances to make it different. So I suggest to study the position of the Sun and to be there a couple of hours before to be ready to get the best shot.
