Reflections of trees on the voie George Pompidou during the River Seine flood of February 2021. To the left is the restaurant boat «Les Maquereaux», further off in the distance is pont Louis-Philippe which connects île Saint-Louis to the Right Bank.
The highways along the Right Bank of the Seine were opened in 1967, were closed for a month each summer for Paris Plages starting in 2002, then entirely closed to cars in September 2016.
