This photo was taken at Arangkel, Azad Kashmir. It was on a recent trip in June of 2021. I went to Azad Kashmir for the very first time, and immediately I was mesmerized by the colors of huts and houses thereTime
As we had only few hours to explore the place we were hiking through Arangkel in the morning around 8 am. Our target was to reach the foot of the hill that surrounds Arangkel and from view we could tell that it would be a hike of 1 hour. at the end of the village we came across some beautiful huts with vibrant colors and these stood out due to Red colorLighting
As it was early in the morning I knew that lightning will be adequate to take the pics and process them later with minimal effort. Sun was rising and skies were clear. This particular hut was facing south so facing towards the sun and the light was perfect.Equipment
I took this image with my cell phone camera OPPO F7. F/1.8, ISO 100, 1/1100Inspiration
I love vibrant colors. This hut grabbed my attention instantly and was standing out among 20 huts or so. So just opened the camera app framed it and took the picture. I wanted a little bit of background to show the surrounding areasEditing
I did very little post processing on this. Used Snapseed to bring the image close to original feelIn my camera bag
I usually use Mobile phones cameras and honing the skill to get great pictures from it. Recently I started using DSLRs but my preference is still mobile phones cameras due to ease of use and less hassle. I travel a lot and try my best to capture these moments through my cellphone as they are convenient. Now a days even mid range cell phones are equipped with good cameras that are capable to take great pics. I carry a gorilla tripod usuallyFeedback
In my experience the best time to shoot this type of pictures are either mornings or evenings due to light conditions. I will suggest to frame the shoot either low or sideways so the structure looks bigger (for cellphone cameras)
