Location
This photo was taken during a Fourth of July celebration on a Air Force Base. Just one of many families gathered to watch the fireworks.Time
This was at 8:00 in the evening. I have seen fireworks many time growing up but I never been this close. The were literally going off right above my head.Lighting
It is interesting that the fireworks are the "lighting". They work over the entire capture. They are multi-color so very vibrant across a dark sky. Street lights play a part but the fireworks allow the viewer the see the make-up of the scenery. The grassy hill, people on blanket and/or in lawn chairs all looking the direction of where the fireworks are coming from.Equipment
This was on a Samsung SM-G97OU cell phone. With a 4.30mm f/1.5 lens. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
When I take any type of photo its never my intention exactly it becoming something more. I am a fan of whatever but often when I get positive feedback and/or praise from other it make me really appreciate my photo because others seem to like it as much as I do, if not more.Editing
So that the firework completely stood out, I made the area around the them b&w. The darkness of the night pretty much took care of it but I did have to take some additional color out.In my camera bag
I have my phone camera and a mini tripod.Feedback
Don't plan to much for the perfect moment to capture something. Just capture the moment because you never know what you might get while your in it, if you don't think think to much.
