Location
This is a photo of Tumalo Falls in the Deschutes National Forest just outside of Bend, OR.Time
This was taken during a mid morning hike.Lighting
The lighting was a little harsh but luckily I had gotten on the trail before it was directly overhead. The shadows of the trees and surrounding mountains helped the situation by blocking out some of the harsh mid day light.Equipment
This was shot with a canon Rebel t7i and an 18-135 mm lens without flash.Inspiration
I travel for work and when I’m not cooped up In an office I like to make the most of my trips. My girlfriend sent me some links if Interesting places to hike in Bend, OR and I came upon this gem.Editing
I did a simple processing on the raw file. Adjusting the blacks, whites and contrasts as well as some very basic color correction. In my camera bag
I normally just have a canon 18-135 mm, and a 10-18 mm in my bag. I travel lightly.Feedback
Be adventurous and take random hikes and trails that seem to be unnoticed or in traveled. I’ve found my best shots all come from random adventures.
