I was trying for a window on the world look using the shade and the trees to give a relaxing feeling of a spring/summer day.Equipment

I was on a hike around the reservoir and had stopped for a drink of water at a table the framing of the lake with the trees and shade had that safe, easy-going relaxing feeling of natureEditing

The weather in northern California is pretty stable, spring and early summer are when our hills are green mid to late summer the grasses dry out and turn brown until we hit the rainy seasons again. The First half of the day is frequently very bright. Check your sunrise and sunset as we are up north so the days get longer in the summer and spring. Watch for snakes we do have poisonous ones and they do like to be more active during these months.
