Porcupine Gorge is about a 5 hour drive west from Townsville, aplprox. 60km from Hughenden, North Queensland. This is one of the first views when you reach the bottom of the climb down (round climb 2.4Km), magic reflections on green water. The green water is actually some type of plant life and quite brightly coloured. This shot was taken not long before the wet season, I assume the water would received a good flushing out at this time. The deceptive aspect to this shot is that the height is quite deceiving, as the climb back up on the other side was downright brutal...hot sun beating down and an incredibly steep slope!
