Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Ausable Chasms In the Adirondacks. its a great place to photograph. It's like being in a mini Grand Canyon.

Time

This photo was taken in the early afternoon.

Lighting

It was a bright sunny day and the lighting was perfect but I had something different in mind with this photo.

Equipment

With this shot I used my Panosonic Lumix.

Inspiration

I just loved the rock formations, textures and the water running through the Chasm.

Editing

Yes I did do post-processing on this particular photo. I wanted a different feeling. I did some layer masking and adjustments.

In my camera bag

I carry a backpack with a Sony AR73, Sony 24-70mm and a 150-600mm lens and my Canon 5D with a 28-135mm & A Benrus carbon fiber tripod and lens cleaner.

Feedback

When I look at something I want to photograph I take in everything around me first I try to find what I want to focus on in the shot. I bracket my shots and I always shoot in RAW.
