Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo was taken in Antietam, MD. This is one of my favorite places to photograph, it is a place that I feel has so many stories to tell from the past. I can always find something to photograph. This particular day I went off adventuring and stumbled upon this dirt road with the barn.

Time

This Photo was taken in early afternoon around 1:30 The day was overcast with some sun that would peek through here and there.

Lighting

This day was overcast and there was just a little sun peeking out here and there. I wanted this image to look serene. Like a walk down memory lane.

Equipment

This Picture was taken with a Fuji FinePix S2 Pro. with a 24-135 mm

Inspiration

I happened to stumble upon this location and I really liked the dirt road and seeing the Barn. I liked how the road is cut in-between the trees and small slope of the land. I just liked the whole setting in this shot. I want the photo to tell a story or bring back a memory.

Editing

Oh yes I did post- processing on this shot. I used Photoshop and lightroom. I did some changes to the exposure such as contrast, highlights and shadows, etc.

In my camera bag

In my bag I have my Canon 5D and Sony Ar7III long with a 24-70mm and a 28-135mm. Some lens cleaning cloths a few filters and a Benro carbon fiber tripod and a card reader for my cell phone.

Feedback

For me being in the environment is where i'm at peace. I like exploring off the beaten path, you never know what you will find. I like to take in everything around me and pay attention to even the littlest of things. Natures best gift is her own lighting, Sometimes you just have to be patient. Do what you love! Enjoy what nature has to offer to capture her beauty. Take that walk off the beaten path you just never know what you will find.
