This flower was located on a corner at an intersection of hiking trails. I noticed they all had started to bloom, but this one got there first. I think of it as kind of a proud moment for this particular flower, for it had bloomed first and was stealing the spotlightEquipment

There really wasn’t much to this one. The composition was almost perfect from the angle I shot at. I think I did adjust the blacks. Also, as I usually do with photos that aren’t portraits, I cranked up the clarity.In my camera bag
