Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Cobus Creek Park in Osceola

Time

Early in the morning

Lighting

This flower was located on a corner at an intersection of hiking trails. I noticed they all had started to bloom, but this one got there first. I think of it as kind of a proud moment for this particular flower, for it had bloomed first and was stealing the spotlight

Equipment

Canon R. Canons first mirrorless released I believe in 2018. I can’t remember if I shot this with the 50. If I did, it’s a 1.4

Inspiration

Walking a trail doing some scouting. Walked passed this beauty, stopped, and thought it would make a beautiful photo

Editing

There really wasn’t much to this one. The composition was almost perfect from the angle I shot at. I think I did adjust the blacks. Also, as I usually do with photos that aren’t portraits, I cranked up the clarity.

In my camera bag

Canon R with the nifty and then a 24-105

Feedback

If your casually walking and something catches your eye, take a photo of it. Sometimes the best photos are the ones you don’t plan on taking
