Catching a Glimpse

It didn't matter if your skin was brown, pink, or blue. It didn't matter if you were wearing a dress, shorts, or a flowing robe. All came together to watch the magnificent Grand Canyon sunrise... And at that moment every person was at once washed in gold light, to be seen only as an outline, a silhouette. Each person silently leaned in as one, hoping to get a view of the glorious sunrise that brought us all together.
