Location
This is the Jungfraujoch mountain in Switzerland and is described as the top of Europe at a height of 3454 Mtrs.It is reached via Europes highest train station and has a Sphinx observatory with a 360 Degree view and also has an ice palace with ice sculptors. You can also observe the Grosser Altetsch Glacier and can ski, sledge or snowboard down on prepared trails.Time
Around 3PM on a cool September day and is one of many shots taken from a viewing platform. I particulary like the sky in this one as sometimes weather can ruin your photo's at these elevations.Lighting
My biggest problem in Switzerland as an amateur was photo's with completely Blown Skys as the sun is fiercly bright after 10:00 A.M. Snow can be challenging as exposure compensation is needed because sensor sometimes detects it as a shade of grey.Equipment
Camera was a Canon 800D (entry level camera) with a 70-200mm zoom lens on an K&F Concept tripod.Inspiration
I love everything about Switzerland as it's so scenic and everthing is accessible by train or cablecar. The opportunity to photograp summits and glaciers is so rare but Switzerland has all. This is one of hundreds taken on this trip.Editing
Just a little lightroom brightining, cropping and resizing for social media. In my camera bag
I carry a Nifty Fifty 50mm Canon ,a 75-300mm telephotoAND a Tokina 100mm Macro. I also have a 6 stop ND Filter and a VariableND filter.Feedback
Snow is hard to get true white on capture.Use exposure bracketing or play aroun with exposure adjustment +/-.
