This was taken in a barn. I am still new to photography so I wanted to try some different settings on my camera.Time
I took this photograph in the middle of the day. I believe it was a cloudy day and had the lights off in the barn. There is a bit of light reflecting on the images right side coming through a side window.Lighting
Personally I was amazed how well the natural light worked for this image. Being a cloudy day the light was not too bright, and having the background lights off it just came together perfectly.Equipment
For this photograph I used a Nikon d3500, with a 18-55mm lensInspiration
I love old automotive art, and this setting recreated similar images I’ve seen before.Editing
Thankfully the car already has a beautiful color, I brought in some contrast and shadowing to expand the dark background.In my camera bag
Being relatively new to photography my gear selection is still small, so it’s easy to lug around. I bring my Nikon d3500, 18-55mm, 70-300mm, and 50mm lenses. And depending on where I am adventuring to I’ll pack my GoPro as well.Feedback
The natural light was my best friend on this picture. But having a dark covered background is also key for this shot.
