The Dutch government also formed Veeniging Toeristenverkeer (VTV), April 13, 1908 as a local organization that regulated tourism activities, which then in the 1916-1937 period the association that regulated tourism activities in Sumatra's Westkust. The mid-20th century to 2021 stretches of sea views, and beaches in Padang have been enjoyed by local travelers every weekend bringing their families for excursions on Padang beaches to knit harmony, family love.
