I was traveling across the country for a year for work, hotel after hotel...when I woke up one day to a sound that scared the hell out of me. It was the sound of something the world had never heard before, and its tone would strike terror in the hearts of every man, woman and child. There was a new apex predator unleashed from whatever hell it called home and we suddenly found that we were no longer at the top of the food chain. Covid had come...and its howl was the sound of silence. The rest of the world was simply gone. This is one of New Englands most famous beaches. Where there should of been thousands, it was only me and a soft cool wind that chilled my soul. The silence was deafening
