I'm a member of a group called Goths, Goggles and Lenses. We try to take alternate photographs in various places in the North East of England.Editing
I used an action I created in Photoshop consisting of a blend of Topaz Adjust and Redfield Fractalius to create an old hand drawn illustration effect. In my camera bag
Canon 1D MkIII with either a 100-400 F/4-5.6L or 70-200 f/2.8L MkII attached and a 5D MkIII with either a 24-105 F/4L or 17-40 F/4L attached. The choice depends on what I'm going to shoot.Feedback
Search out unusual locations that are not well known, or are usually inaccessible to the general public. Take shots from various angles, not just your simple straight on one. Get your subject to be interactive within the scene and not just in the basic pose. Experiment with different filters and actions in post processing, but keep a record of which you used. Create each action on a separate layer so you can blend them together to create a different effect.
