Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at my home studio. I was testing new lighting and using myself as a model. Really one of my favorite photos.

Time

Late afternoon. Taken inside at my home studio.

Lighting

Testing out off camera flash.

Equipment

Used my Canons T3/T5 (35mm 55mm lens) with Opteka IF-980 E-TTL AF Dedicated Flash w/Bounce, Zoom

Inspiration

Wanted to test off camera flash.

Editing

Post processing included color correction and minor blemishes utilizing Adobe Photoshop.

In my camera bag

Normally two Canon cameras 55mm; 200mm lenses, tripod, camera cleansers, batteries and filters.

Feedback

Although it doesn’t require much space to do self portraits, I recommend at least 10’x10’ space for wider angles full body) and better post-editing.
