This was captured at my home studio, using a black backdrop and tungsten halogen lights.Time
This was shot at night, so as to more easily control the light. I have large bay windows that provide a good deal of natural light and I could only control a section of it at the time, so waiting until nightfall allowed me more liberty.Lighting
I wanted to provide high-key exposure to her face while also bringing attention to her shape and form through rim lighting and and accentuated highlights. I established base exposure with a diffused light, keyed her face, then embellished further with rim/back lights, creating somewhat close to a 3-point setup.Equipment
