During peacocks' dazzling courtship displays, males show off an extravagant train of iridescent blue-green feathers to attract the attention, and hopefully affection, of peahens. The feathers are rattled to about 30 times per second to generate a hissing sound and with an extravagant display of its feathers and the tail feathers, the peacocks dance around for more than 30 mins woo a peahen.
