I took this photo at the beach in my home town Gda?sk (Poland). Wasn't expected such a beautiful view like this.Time
That was just an ordinary day, I decided to go for a walk, took my camera and tripod with me just like always when its sunset time. It was during the winter so the sunset was really early, about 4pm. The colors were really heartwarming and birds gave this photo more beauty. I put the camera on the tripod and was waiting for the perfect time when some birds will took off. The shutter was 1sec so I was worried that birds will be blurry but fortunately it wasn't so bad. That was one of my favorite sunset, gave me peace and a lot of happiness.Lighting
There is nothing more beautiful than a sunlight when the sun is going down or up. I guess sun knew that I am going to take this photo and helped me obtain such a beautiful photography.Equipment
That was shoot on Canon 1300D 18-55mm f/3,5. I also used tripod, no other equipment was involved.Inspiration
At first I was doing photos of the sea from long distance but when I came to the water I fell in love with those birds at the sunset colors and at the same time I decided to make a photography of them. I was waiting some time for them to took off but now I know that it was worth waiting.Editing
I had to give this photography a little bit of light because it wasn't as bright as I wanted. I also turned on the colors, correct the shadows and white balance to give more life to this photo.In my camera bag
Since I started my journey with photography I always had my Canon 1300D 18-55mm and other lens from Canon 80-200mm f/4,5 in bag and after some time I bought a tripod I used it especially for the night photography. At winter time there was also thermos with tea at the other season I always have a bottle of water. Since the end of march 2021 I wanted to make my photography more professional than before so I started to use Sony Alpha a6000 (mirrorless) 16-50mm f/3,5 with other Sony lens 55-210mm f/4,5. Its smaller and the weigh is different but it fits my hand and I didn't have any problems that this is a mirrorless camera. I am so glad that I decided to change my equipment.Feedback
The main thing is to not resign when the weather is changing or it so cold outside. Its about more warm clothes and something hot to drink in bag. Also don't waste time and think "maybe tomorrow will be a better view" because it can turns out that tomorrow will be a rainy day or a lot of clouds on the sky that the sunset won't be seen. Be prepared to wait some time to take a perfect photo. Sometimes it is just a second after long time of waiting when its the moment to click the shutter button so there is a need to always be focused.
