Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo at my favorite local bird park, just a 15 minute drive from my house. As I was preparing to capture a photo of two ducks, this ground squirrel popped up from behind two rocks not far from the waterfront.Time
The time of day was mid morning.I had just setup my tripod as this squirrel was checking out it’s surroundings.Lighting
The lighting was naturally perfect, overcast.Equipment
This shot was taken on a Sony A6100 Mirrorless, with an 55-210 mmm/4.5 lens. I also utilized my tripod. No other equipment was required.Inspiration
As this squirrel stood as if he was posing for me, I just had to capture this photo. Perfect!Editing
I cropped the photo so that the squirrel was the main subject of the photo. In addition, I added a little brightness being that the photo was a bit dark being the the weather was overcast. In my camera bag
I always pack my Sony A6100 Mirrorless camera, along with my E PZ 1-50mm, E 55-210mm, and FE 85mm f/1.8 Telephoto Prime lenses. In addition I pack my tripod, lense wipes, and my lens filters.Feedback
Have plenty of patience, and wait for that perfect moment to capture a great photo.
