Monday update in the saga of trying to rescue the injured Mandarin duck (see previous image). We tried again today, but the injured duck has got wise. It was on the far side of the small island, where it had disappeared to yesterday. We were only able to get the attention of all the others with our bread offerings! One rather contented male Mandarin shown from today, just to upload something to show that we did at least try to catch the injured bird!
