Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at night in my home studio, only light source was with candle. I am a self taught photographer.

Time

It was taken at night, no over head lights only source of light was candles staged all around the studio.

Lighting

Just used candle light only, I had candles set up all around my studio to give a soft light.

Equipment

Shot with a Cannon eos t 3 rebel. F stop: f/4 Exposure time : 1/20 sec

Inspiration

I am a painter so I was looking to creating reference photos to use for paintings later on. I love painting soft gothic inspired pieces.

Editing

The only editing was in lightroom to adjust the highlights.

In my camera bag

My bag normally has a small mirror and lens ball.

Feedback

Practice pays off, I am self taught so it's a lot of trial by fire. Play with different settings, set ups and lights
