Location
This was on a spontaneous adventure to Sequoia National Park. From a meadow I could see the rest of the mountains and it reminded me of a painting.Time
I remember looking at the clock to see it was about 3pm. I only glanced because I wanted to grab dinner before we lost more light.Lighting
This was in the winter to we lost daylight faster making the light softer and better at this time.Equipment
I used my zoom lens 200-300 mm and Nikon D7500 with no tripod just freehand!Inspiration
I often go to the wilderness because I enjoy it but I also go to take photos. This is where I started and I strive to show others how I see the environment.Editing
For this because of the distance and light I got lucky. Post was just bringing the colors a tad more and I was done!In my camera bag
For the great outdoors I typically only carry 4 lenses. an 85mm, 200-300 mm, standard kit lens, and the standard 18-35 mm lens! Depending on the hike I may or may not have a tripod.Feedback
Just go out to where you like, it doesn't have to be a national park. I think if you shoot what you really enjoy it comes out in you photos.
