Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the city of La Orotava, which is in Tenerife, Canary Islands.

Time

I waited until 7 p.m., when the sun sets in winter here.

Lighting

I waited for the sunset, observing the depth that the light gave in general at that time and realizing that it was already raining as seen on the right side, about arrive where I was

Equipment

I have used Camera Canon Eos 5D Mark II, lens Sigma 24-70 2.8, with with a good tripod. HDR

Inspiration

I was inspired by the light, the rainy weather and the most important, that I felt good emotionally.

Editing

I did the post-processing using Lightroom 5, and Photosop CC 2017, and some retouching with Luminar 3.

In my camera bag

Canon Eos 5 MarkII, Nikon D3, with various lenses( 24-70 2.8 70-200 2.8 24-120 4.5 300mm 5.6 semifish eye 2.8) and flashes, tripod, and ND filters

Feedback

For me, the main advice is to work in RAW, be emotionally sensitive, to see and feel the atmosphere of what we are going to photograph.
