Thank you for the award. This was after a good dump of snow w/ lots of ice. This is the sculpture in front of the Blanden Art Museum here in our city!

Location
At the Blanden Memorial Art Museum in Fort Dodge, Iowa.Time
It was in the early afternoon when the sun is a bit southwest of the museum.Lighting
It was cloudy and the light that was available was reflecting off the sculpture leaves, the icicles and the snow on the ground. A perfect mix of shadows and textures.Equipment
Just my Iphone nothing else, it was subzero type temps too so just point and shoot.Inspiration
We have this stunning sculpture that was influenced by the oak trees/leaves that fall on the ground in this historic district. We had just had a heavy snow and when I had walked up to the museum just north of the sculpture the icicles got my attention. Later I walked out front of the museum and through deep snow to just get up close n' personal to the icicles and take a picture of them. The cold steel leaves with the texture of the icicles/snow with the snow in the background was just irresistible.Editing
I think all I did was play with minimal brightness/contrast and the vignette feature. In my camera bag
my wallet, notebooks, masks and some other random things.Feedback
Look around you and see what is right in front of you. The most ordinary things can sometimes be the most intriguing things you will ever take a picture of.
