It is always a challenge to figure out new perspectives of a well-known, over-shot location. And calling Zaanse Schans an overshot location is an understatement. But then, it was the pristine beauty of the place that drew me there again and again, in fact, three times in the last year. And only on the 3rd visit, did I find something that I felt allowed me to show the place in a new light. Well, quite literally, I guess in a new light as I have nearly not seen any photograph of ZS at night, let alone with star trails.
