Behind The Lens

Location

I took the photo in Sanbornton, New Hampshire on my way to work.

Time

The time of day was around 7am when I was on my way to work. Every Friday and Saturday I would wake up a little earlier just to sit in this spot and catch the gorgeous sunrise.

Lighting

What caught my eye the most about this lighting was now the orange glow from the rising sun was reflecting off the snow and the road. I had to capture this. It was beautiful.

Equipment

I actually only used my iPhone 11Pro. All my photos are captured from my phone. I’m a inspiring and self taught photographer. I haven’t been able to afford a nice camera yet. But I’m glad my camera on my phone can capture some great shots!

Inspiration

I’ve always been extremely drawn to the sky. I often go out of my way just to get a great picture of a sunrise or sunset. I have a lot of stressful things happening in my life right now and the only time I feel at peace is when I’m looking to up the sky. It’s calming for me. And a great way for me to start off my day

Editing

I adjusted the shadows and slightly adjusted the saturation and vibrance of the photo to make the colors pop a little more. And to make the colors reflecting off the road and the snow stand out more

In my camera bag

iPhone 11 Pro is all I have

Feedback

Not really, I just usually try to adjust my exposer setting while looking at what I’m trying to capture for the best picture.
