I hope you won’t mind this comment, because II think this would be magnificent with just a touch of post-processing. Maybe eliminate the twig on the left so that you have the milkweed pod against the sky & no other wood distracting the eye.

Don’t go through the trouble of removing the branch, I think it balances the composition.
