I shot this photo from my back in Horseshoe Bend, AR. It was a very cold day and I was just about to pack it in. Then a few of these little guys came into my area. I noticed they were flying back and forth from tree to tree with regularity. I shot about a hundred frames and this was the best one. I was trilled.Time

Not too much in way of processing. I adjusted the exposure, cropped and added some clarity. I used inPixio for the processing.In my camera bag
Depends on what I'm going to be shooting. Most of the time I carry two Canons, 1D Mark IV and a 80D. I use a Nikon 50mm for landscapes, and the Sigma 150/600mm for action shots. Always extra batteries and SD cards.Feedback
You need to have a lot of patience capturing birds. Try to keep the frame ahead of the bird while anticipating the direction the bird is going to fly. Oh, and get ready to delete a bunch of shots.
