I really wanted some shots of deer! Not far from home, maybe a fifteen minute drive, is a perfect spot! Sagebrush flats transitioning to juniper and pinion! They live here, others migrate through. A bunch of them!Time
Mid afternoon, beautiful day!Lighting
Natural sunlight, no clouds.Equipment
As a novice, I pretty much use starter equipment, if I ever learn how to use it all, maybe I’ll upgrade. This is with a Cannon EOS rebel T7, offhand, With Cannon Zoom EF 75-300mm, 1:4-5.6, no filters!Inspiration
I didn’t have any pictures of deer, so we went to a local hot spot for deer with the intention of getting some shots!Editing
I did crop a little, and some minor adjustments to light and contrast to make the deer stand out a little clearer. In my camera bag
I always have my Cannon with me, with my zoom lens, and a smaller 18-55mm, came with camera, and Vivitar HD4 wide angle converter, and 2.2 telephoto converter. And 2 extra batteries!!!Feedback
Wildlife! I love the natural, especially landscape and wildlife! Wildlife is, well wildlife! I’d love to say I set this shot up, but, yeah! Do some scouting, find where they are and their movement patterns. Go there and start shooting.
