Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken Right outside my home! I have a luxury of beautiful sunsets in Riverton Wyoming right my friend yard!

Time

This photo was taken at sunset! We have beautiful sunsets in Wyoming almost every day.

Lighting

With the beautiful sunset behind the model already I added an off-camera flash diagonal to the front of the model.

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 90 D. I used a 50 MM lens add a 1.8. I also use an off-camera flash.

Inspiration

The colors of the season and the beautiful sunset inspired me to capture this photo.

Editing

Post processing was pretty simple as I had a gorgeous model in great lighting. I did do some skin softening in light room enhanced some of the colors in Photoshop!

In my camera bag

I shoot with a Canon 90 D. It does great for photos and video. I always have a 50 mm and 85 mm in my bag. I must have is an off-camera flash. You’ll never know when you need it.

Feedback

Off-camera lighting is nice to have but just remember it’s not always needed! Some of the best photos are shot with all natural light.
